Nick Fury dropping Donnie Darko references like a boss.

Not to be a dick but I thought it was a reference to the 1950 film Harvey with Jimmy Stewart. Jimmy plays a really nice guy who has a pal named Harvey, who is described as an invisible six-foot tall rabbit. Either way Ultimate Nick Fury is the sassiest.

World’s Finest Fanart! I am super excited to see this book come out! Enough to draw some fanart for it. I used my ‘redesign’ for Power Girl…cuz I wanted to, but most likely (since I have the layered files) will put up the same pic with ‘Classic’ PG at a later date. Enjoy.
Cannot wait for World’s Finest. If it takes anything from The Huntress Mini-Series, it will be worth my time for sure.

Be Creative, Together.
Okay so if any of you have been following Gail Simone on Tumblr then you may have read a recent discussion she had about the unique opportunity that Tumblr presents creative people. If you aren’t following her, the breakdown is this: We as a community have the ability to work together and create whatever we want. She used the framework of comics and suggested that all of those people out their with ideas who lack the ability to draw and all of those artists who have no idea what they want to create need to get together.
It took off and just last night, a tumblr has been set up as a message board to connect artists and writers. The blog is called, http://makeyourownthen.tumblr.com/ and is still in its infancy. The idea is fantastic and I have already put up a small proposal for work I’d like help with. If any of you want to draw, or write or even just want to support people who are trying to get into a creative world then follow this blog and get involved.

BPRD, y’all.
Okay so I’ve recently been reading the entire BPRD canon and so far its been pretty good. Then I got to this, HOLY FUCKING FART, PLAGUE OF FROGS IS AMAZING!
It’s been a while since I felt emotionally invested enough in a comic to actually punch the air when a character didn’t die. I strongly recommend it though you probably need to read some of the backstory to fully appreciate how fantastic it is.

These two I see the friendship having less shippy sub-text than say Steph/Cass or Babs/Cass, but I still see it a bit in scenes like this.
